Despite constant shelling, 10-15 large families still live in the city of Seversk, Ukraine. This story is about one of the families: a mother and her three children aged 4 to 10 years. There has been no electricity, gas, or water in the city for a longtime, and there is practically no mobile communication. During one of the attacks, an enemy shell hit the family's home, and it burned to ashes. They moved to an empty house, the main advantage of which was the cellar. In this cellar, the family set up a shelter to hide during the shelling. Of course, it was cold and damp in this basement, especially now that it's raining, and winter is approaching. In addition, in order to cook food and heat their temporary shelter, both mother and children had to collect firewood wherever possible.

After all, due to the lack of electricity and gas, there were simply no other ways to eat and warmup. Thank God there was a wood burning stove in the house, but it was cold and damp in the cellar, where they spent most of the time, and sometimes spent the nights. The local church brought and installed a stove in the cellar. They immediately checked how it works. You can say almost immediately in the cellarit became much warmer and cozier. Well, if necessary, you can always prepare warm tea or hot food. The family is very grateful for taking care of them. Mom did not hide tears of gratitude when she received a stove, warm clothes, and hygiene products.

The local church offered the family to evacuate, but they have not made a decision yet. We pray that God saves their lives and allows them to live this winter in warmth. We thank everyone who took part in the collection of stoves. Know that by doing so you saved many lives of children, the elderly, and adults and their health.

Below is a video and more images of people like the family from Seversk who received the stoves to keep them warm during cold winter.
